Broadgate
We provided the integrated security solution for a high-profile City of London 13-storey ‘ground-scraper’ development which included four large trading floors accommodating up to 3,000 desks and a further seven levels of offices.
The security infrastructure installed by us provides a flexible, highly integrated, yet simple system to manage suitable, varied and flexible space to meet the new ways of working within the building while also reflecting capacity constraints and maximising building efficiency.
22 Bishopsgate
For one of the tallest new buildings in London, a 62-storey tower providing 1,275 million sq. ft. of premium workspace for 12,000 people, the Skyline team was asked to find new technologies to facilitate fast, secure access into the building with an emphasis on user experience. We developed new standards of systems integration on a major scale.
Our facial recognition technology optimised the efficient passage of large numbers of daily users into the building. Cameras were incorporated strategically to maintain the aesthetic of touchless access points, and fully integrated IP-based CCTV and intruder alarm systems installed.
Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station is a large mixed-use retail, residential and commercial development. We provided detailed design for all elements and the fire detection and PAVA systems on a structured phased basis.
The fire detection and PAVA evacuation solution incorporates a high-speed fire-rated network with 30 fire alarm panels, 3000 smoke and heat detectors, 1200 interfaces to other building services, 400 break glass units, 50 PAVA rack positions and a total PAVA loudspeaker solution. The system is fully integrated and connects to building services such as dampers and fans for smoke control, sprinkler systems, door access and the building management system.
New Street Square
A 275,000 sq ft office building in London EC4 achieved the BREEAM Outstanding certification and the WELL Certified Gold award. The building comprises 15 floors and workspaces for 5,500 people.
The Skyline team was chosen to provide an integrated security solution incorporating facial recognition access control, CCTV and a full building intercommunication system. The unified solution designed and installed by our Skyline team provides building management with tools to manage space in a highly flexible manner with total security integrity and maximum efficiency.
